Location: Austin, TX (In-Office/ NOT REMOTE OR HYBRID*)

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 HR

Hours: Monday – Friday || 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 30-minute or 1 Hour Lunch. (based on how busy the branch is)

One of our clients out of North Austin is one of the largest distributors of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating parts and equipment including a complete base of HVAC/R products in North America. Their company is well-established with over 45 locations in the United States and Canada. They have been serving mechanical contractors, supermarkets, small entrepreneurs, service mechanics, and large industrial Companies for over 70 years. They are looking for a "Bilingual in Spanish Counter Sales Associate" to join their team. You’ll spend the day on your feet, moving between our customer service counter, the office, and the shop floor . The ideal candidate will be outgoing, motivated, and dependable. This role is expected to provide clerical and administrative support by creating memorable experiences, building customer loyalty, as well as upselling as needed to grow and nurture the company's portfolio. Experience using their software " Web UI " is ideal.

Experience as an Account Manager, Counter Sales Representative, or Inside Sales Representative are an ideal fit for this role. (HVAC and Plumbing Industry experience, preferred)

This candidate must have exceptional communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, good basic math skills, and have consistent work history with experience in a similar position. This position is specific to the refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and HVAC fields of industry . Candidates must have proven/ consistent recent experience.

Our client will train you through the full process of the sales structure, starting from the warehouse to the front counter to ensure you are well-rounded and confident in your position. If you’re customer-focused, passionate about service/customer satisfaction, have a positive attitude, and are solution-driven while being motivated to learn, they can teach you the rest.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide efficient and courteous assistance to customers processing orders via telephone or in person.
• Provide pricing and delivery information to customers as necessary.
• Pick and consolidate orders.
• Stock and organize the counter area.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns, and address pricing deductions and material returns in a timely manner.
• Respond to customer inquiries, answer incoming customer calls, and work with warehouse staff on will-call orders, and special orders.
• Pull orders as necessary and complete purchase orders.
• Develop relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Promote new and existing products to customers.
• Always demonstrate professionalism.
• Maintain appropriate contact with distributors and support the supply chain.
• Report any customer problems or concerns to the branch manager immediately.
• Perform other duties as required.
  
  

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2+ years of plumbing or HVAC sales experience (HVAC/R preferred)
• Comprehensive product and application knowledge
• Computer and data entry proficiency
• Customer service experience
  
  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently along with being FLUENT in Spanish. (required)
• Basic mathematical principles
• Walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.
• Understand and carry out oral and written instruction.
• Experience with a Sit-down Forklift (preferred)
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted

• Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be reliable with excellent attendance.
