Are you passionate about travel and helping others plan unforgettable vacations? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a love for travel, and is eager to grow in a dynamic and rewarding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and sell domestic and international travel experiences, including cruises and land-based vacation packages
Provide exceptional service by building lasting relationships with clients and generating new business through referrals and repeat customers
Prepare and manage all travel-related documentation, including invoices and trip itineraries
Recommend and cross-sell relevant products and services to enhance the overall travel experience
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer proficiency, with the ability to navigate multiple programs and websites simultaneously
Prior experience as a travel agent is a plus
Familiarity with computer reservation systems is preferred
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
Solid sales acumen and commercial awareness
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
In-depth knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
Personal travel experience is highly valued and considered an advantage
