Schedule: Full-Time | Mixed (Rotating Weekends)

Opportunity Overview:
A busy, well-respected trauma program in Ocala, Florida is seeking an experienced trauma neurosurgeon to join its team. This role is hospital-based within a verified Level I Trauma Center and focuses exclusively on providing high-acuity neurosurgical care to trauma patients. The position includes dedicated APP support, ICU resources, and the opportunity to participate in teaching or clinical research if desired.
Qualified Candidates Will Benefit From:
✔ Board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery
✔ Spine fellowship preferred; spine experience required
✔ Primary clinical focus on trauma neurosurgery
✔ Responsibilities include:
• Managing neuro trauma alerts
• Performing trauma consults
• Leading and participating in follow-up clinic
• Participating in trauma center survey verification/designation, peer review, quality rounds, and program improvement
✔ Hospital-based role within the trauma department
✔ Shared monthly schedule with another trauma neurosurgeon and advanced APP support
✔ Optional opportunities for clinical research and medical education through a university-affiliated residency program
