Our client, a leading real estate title services firm, is seeking a meticulous Closing Coordinator with expertise in managing New Jersey-specific real estate closings from initial order through funding and final disbursement.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing seamless, accurate, and compliant closings by preparing title commitments, clearing title issues, balancing HUD-1/Closing Disclosures, coordinating with all parties involved, and ensuring timely disbursement of funds to complete transactions efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate and process new title orders by researching property ownership records and ordering municipal searches to kickstart each transaction accurately.

• Prepare comprehensive and error-free Title Commitments by reviewing chains of title and supporting documentation, ensuring clients receive timely and precise commitments.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve title defects by working closely with lenders, attorneys, and municipal offices to clear all outstanding issues before closing.

• Draft, balance, and finalize HUD-1 Settlement Statements and Closing Disclosures by collaborating with lenders, mortgage brokers, and borrowers, ensuring all figures reconcile precisely.

• Manage communications and document exchanges with lenders through online portals, ensuring updates and final documents are shared promptly and securely.

• Coordinate all aspects of scheduling and conducting closings with borrowers, closers, lenders, and attorneys to guarantee a smooth and professional experience.

• Prepare and review closing packages, ensuring every document is complete, accurate, and compliant with New Jersey regulations before execution.

• Execute secure and compliant disbursement of funds, including verifying wire instructions, authorizing payments, and performing meticulous financial reconciliation to close transactions successfully.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in title closing and funding specifically within New Jersey, demonstrating deep familiarity with state-specific requirements and nuances.

• Advanced knowledge of New Jersey real estate laws, title insurance practices, HUD-1 Settlement Statements, Closing Disclosures, and loan documentation processes.

• High-level proficiency in title and closing software (such as Tracker Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across all technology platforms.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of maintaining error-free documentation and financial calculations under strict deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally and clearly with clients, lenders, attorneys, and internal team members.

• Solid problem-solving abilities, capable of resolving title and closing issues independently while maintaining compliance with all legal and procedural standards.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment without sacrificing accuracy or customer service.

• Collaborative team player who thrives in coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders while also effectively handling individual responsibilities.
