Oak Flat Vineyards tasting room is looking to hire one additional associate to join our small team at our new tasting room and bistro in se Portland!
This position is a flexible, front and back of house position and you must have the willingness to cooperate and collaborate with our staff as one team.

We are looking for someone who can work both front of house serving and describing wines and food pairings, back of house preparing food from our small menu and ring-up guests with the point of sale system.

Though we would love to hire the world's finest sommelier, you don’t have to have any previous wine experience - We are happy to train you !

Applicants must be friendly, hard working, team oriented, honest, and comfortable with food and liquor service. This is a sales position with a focus on wine club membership.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: greeting guests, wine club, offering menu assistance, offering specials, order taking, delivering food and beverages, follow-up, guest retention, cleaning, sanitizing, side work, food prep, event set-up, singing guests up for wine club, being responsible for cash and credit payments, etc.

Pay:
$17.00 / hour + a percentage of tips

Job Type/Shift:
Part Time, Summer Seasonal (with potential for year round)
Thursday-Sunday

Ability to commute:
This is an in person job, please have reliable transportation.

Must be 21 years or older.

Experience:
Front of house Service Experience preferred
Wine/Winery Wine Club experience preferred
Event experience preferred

License/Certification:
Oregon Drivers License
OLCC Servers Permit (can be obtained upon hiring)
Oregon Food Handlers Card (can be obtained upon hiring)
