Preschool Substitute | Loveland

Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking substitute teachers! Do you need a flexible schedule? Part time and random days of availability? No problem! Apply to be a substitute and create your own availability.

Positions Available at :

• 1801 Piney River Drive
• 1703 E 18th St

Salary: $17.00-$21.00

• $17-$18 for some relevant higher education and limited experience (Assistant qualified)
• $18-$21 for lead teacher credential/education plus experience (Lead qualified)

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote learning and development
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe and respected
• Provide individualized attention and support to children, taking into account their unique abilities and interests
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and enriching educational experience
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions
• Monitor and assess each child's developmental milestones, providing feedback and guidance as needed
• Ensure a clean and organized classroom environment that meets health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development and education theories and practices
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
• Ability to adapt to the changing needs of children and provide individualized support
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a childcare setting
• Willingness to undergo a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or clearances
