The global Red Bull Digital Products & Services technology team is responsible for developing, launching, and maintaining advanced technology solutions to support all global consumer-facing digital products, including streaming platforms like Red Bull TV, mobile apps and games, RedBull.com, as well as promoting the brand through innovative emerging technologies.
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead a product pillar end-to-end, overseeing the visual and user experience design for the Streaming Platforms team. This role involves supporting a range of native mobile and TV apps, websites, and digital touchpoints including Red Bull TV, Servus TV, and Rally TV. You will act as the creative lead, steering design direction for experiences that impact a global audience.
You will be responsible for the entire design process and managing a small team of designers—from research and concept development to high-fidelity design and delivery—collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional partners. As the scope expands, the aim is to also manage future external contractors, agency collaborators, and potentially additional designers, while upholding a high standard for craftsmanship and strategic thinking.
Success in this role comes from being proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting goals. It requires strategic thinking, high-quality execution, and the ability to collaborate effectively across product, engineering, marketing, partnerships, support, and legal teams. You possess strong design skills—balancing form and function, creativity and data—while advocating for human-centered design principles.
You will report to and be supported by the Red Bull Digital Products Design Director, leading all design efforts within the Streaming Platforms pillar, backed by a global cross-functional network. Success necessitates comfort with uncertainty, adaptability, and strong alignment and communication across teams.
RESPONSIBILITIESAll the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Own a product pillar from start to finish, encompassing discovery and delivery, while providing clear and confident guidance for design strategy in uncertain situations.
Lead impactful design initiatives across native mobile, web, TV, and emerging platforms for a global audience. Work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and delivery timelines.
Collaborate with UX Research to identify insights, drive research efforts, and validate product decisions.
Provide support for vendor and agency partnerships, including scope, contracts, and creative alignment (with assistance).
Proactively identify the need for design or research resources and bring this to the attention of leadership. Facilitate design critiques, maintain transparent workflows, and promote cross-functional collaboration.
Provide platform-native UI/UX for mobile, TV, and web that aligns with brand values, boosts performance, and is informed by user insights.
Manage the complete design process—from initial exploration and prototyping to flawless execution and handoff—while working closely with product, design, and other stakeholders.
Take responsibility for and develop the design system, adding reusable components and scalable patterns to enhance the overall experience.
Maintain high standards of design quality and ensure consistency with the product's vision, even when priorities change.
Work together on asset delivery and conduct post-launch quality assurance to ensure the final experience matches the original intentions.
Clearly communicate the design rationale to cross-functional teams and leadership, influencing direction and decision-making.
Develop engaging presentations to convey product vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Facilitate team-wide understanding through project updates, all-hands meetings, and design synchronizations.
Encourage a culture of feedback, iteration, and shared learning within the design team and beyond.
