Summary

Full-time and part-time positions. Clinic and mobile appointments. Provide play-based therapy to neurodivergent children ages 2+. Flexible schedule!

Duties

• Administer speech and language evaluations to patients to collect information on type and degree of impairments.
• Complete well-written diagnostic reports.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for neurodivergent children based on assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologists, or social workers. 
• Play-based therapy provided in home or school settings.
• Provide referrals based on client?s medical, therapeutic, academic, or recreational needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and OT on techniques to carryover skills to home, school, and community.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Maintain proper documentation of caseload activities, including the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Develop individual or group activities or programs in schools to address communication breakdowns, social skills, speech, and language.
• Participate in meetings regarding patients' progress, such as in-service meetings and intervention team meetings.
• Complete administrative responsibilities, such as scheduling case management activities.
• Educate patients and family members about various topics, such as communication and play techniques.
• Consult with and refer clients to additional medical, recreational, or educational services.

Requirements

• Master's in Communicative Sciences & Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence
• Have or willing to obtain TN licenses
• Valid TN Driver's License
• Background check
