Job Description

Triaplex, Inc. is looking for a self-propelled  Software Architect or Software Developer, to join our mission focused team in Northern Virginia. The candidate should have experience building and designing software systems and components using modern design principles. 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Debug existing software and correct defects using one or more programming languages (Java, or Python, or C#, additional languages will also be considered)
• Interface with database to perform queries and optimize flow of data (Both SQL and noSQL experience will be considered)
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and models to predict outcome and consequences of design
• Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software
• Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical/engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
• Some amount of demonstrated relevant experience as a Software Developer or Architect or Engineer
• Four years' additional relevant engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
• Experience in an agile development environment
• TS/SCI with polygraph
