**Job Title: Skilled Mason**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled mason to install split-face veneer block systems, ensuring proper tie-in to metal stud framing. This role involves laying brick, block, and stone for commercial structures including walls, partitions, and facades. The mason will read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, mix and apply mortar or grout with precision, and cut and shape masonry materials using hand and power tools. Ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and leveling of masonry units is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install split-face veneer block systems with proper tie-in to metal stud framing.
+ Lay brick, block, and stone for commercial structures including walls, partitions, and facades.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
+ Mix and apply mortar or grout with precision.
+ Cut and shape masonry materials using hand and power tools.
+ Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and leveling of masonry units.
+ Collaborate with framing crews and other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.
+ Operate scaffolding, lifts, and other equipment safely.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in masonry, brick laying, and stonemasonry.
+ Experience using hand and power tools.
+ Knowledge of commercial construction practices.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
+ OSHA 10 certification.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ Experience collaborating with other trades.
+ Boots required for safety compliance.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
