Job Description
DESCRIPTION
Amazon is looking for a highly analytical program manager to join the Canada Supply Chain team. Canada Supply Chain team is responsible for the long-term capacity and network architecture planning, as well as the short-term supply chain execution between Amazon’s sellers/vendors, fulfillment centers and downstream partners. As a Program Manager with Inbound Supply Chain (IB SC), you will have a holistic view of supply chain and demand within the Amazon fulfillment network. With the goal of serving our customers better, you will be integral part of diagnosing problems, conceive-build-implement solutions to drive efficiencies for strategic initiatives across inbound supply chain, thus optimizing inventory placement, speed and cost.
As a Program Manager, you will work in a fast-paced, fluid environment and communicate business conditions and decisions effectively with stakeholders across multiple groups and levels – from warehouse associates to various Amazon Directors and VPs. There will rarely be a perfect solution, so it will be up to you to seek out problems, dive deep into data, generate insights, deliver results that guide operational excellence through data-driven decisions and manage stakeholder relationships and earn trust of partner teams while planning and executing within an ever-changing environment. This role is a blend of short-term execution and long-term planning, that requires quick decision-making, with incomplete data, while also thinking big and influencing the strategic direction of the network.

They will have a strong bias toward driven decision-making. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think and be creative (while paying careful attention to detail).
