Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Media Director to join our dynamic team in Irvine, California. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with a strong background in media planning and execution, particularly within the automotive industry. The role requires a strategic thinker who can lead media campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate across departments to deliver impactful results. Responsibilities: - Develop and oversee comprehensive media strategies tailored to meet client objectives and market demands. - Manage advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals. - Negotiate with media vendors to secure optimal rates and placements for campaigns. - Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize effectiveness. - Lead presentations and pitches to clients, showcasing media plans and insights. - Stay informed about industry developments, trends, and emerging technologies in media. - Collaborate with creative and account management teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution. - Enhance traditional media efforts, including direct mail and event-based marketing. - Utilize media planning tools and software to optimize campaign performance and reporting. - Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Requirements - 8-10 years of experience in media planning and execution, with a focus on agency work. - Proven expertise in digital platforms and analytics tools, including GA4 and channel-specific software. - Familiarity with automotive marketing and industry-specific strategies is highly preferred. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign and Premiere Pro. - Strong skills in campaign planning, blogging, and content management systems (CMS). - Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively engage clients and teams. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and refine strategies. - Leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional teams and drive project success.
