As a **Security Professional - Bank Patrols** in **San Mateo, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in all situations. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $23.10 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. + Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location. + Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities. + Support emergency response activities according to site protocols, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations as directed. **Minimum Requirements:** + **California Security Guard Card is preferred.** + A valid Guard Card/License is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
