Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to join our dynamic team in supporting Salesforce projects within a federal government environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in release management, work well with Scrum teams, and excel in scheduling and coordinating releases. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that Salesforce releases are deployed smoothly, on time, and in compliance with government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Release Management: Lead and manage the full release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing releases within the Salesforce platform.
Team Collaboration: Partner closely with Scrum teams to ensure alignment and the successful execution of release activities.
Compliance: Leverage knowledge of federal government regulations and standards to ensure all release activities meet required compliance criteria.
Change Management: Oversee change management processes, including managing changesets, to ensure seamless deployments.
Integration Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage Salesforce integrations and dependencies with other systems.
Documentation: Maintain detailed release documentation, such as deployment plans, run books, and release notes.
Communication: Keep all stakeholders informed with clear communication about release schedules, activities, and statuses.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance release management efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in release management, particularly within Salesforce implementations.
Government Experience: Proven success managing releases in a federal government environment.
Certifications: Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, are highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Salesforce administration, DevOps, and release management tools such as Copado or similar platforms.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.
Remote Work Capability: Comfortable working remotely within cross-functional teams, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Experience

Advanced Certifications: Additional Salesforce certifications like Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer are a plus.
Project Management: Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Integration Tools: Familiarity with tools like Jenkins CI, Selenium, and other integration tools.
Security Clearance: Existing Secret clearance or higher is a plus.
Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location

Remote: The position is based remotely, with occasional visits to the office or client site as needed for specific project requirements.
Compensation

Salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $132,000. Actual salary will be based on experience, location, and other factors.
