About the role

We are looking for a driven, strategic, and creative Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market (GTM) strategies, overseeing the performance of both our sales and marketing teams, and driving company growth.

About you

As the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales force and marketing team toward achieving key performance goals. You will design and execute marketing strategies, review sales calls, enhance conversion rates, optimize onboarding, and host webinars that showcase JoinBrands.com’s value proposition, and spearhead the overall GTM strategy. This high-impact role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for building brand awareness and driving revenue. You should be a prolific executor of business plans and strategies and be well versed in what it takes to grow a SaaS company.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership & Management
    • Oversee the daily activities of the sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment on targets and objectives.
    • Hire, train, and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Set departmental KPIs, track performance metrics, and provide actionable feedback to improve results.
  2. Sales Performance
    • Review and analyze sales calls to identify opportunities for improvement and provide coaching to sales representatives.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to optimize lead generation, pipeline management, and conversion rates.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to maintain strong customer relationships and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  3. Marketing Strategy & Execution
    • Own the overall marketing calendar, creating integrated campaigns and initiatives to drive brand awareness and demand.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Customer Success) to align messaging and positioning across all channels.
    • Identify and implement the most effective growth marketing channels, including email, content marketing, social media, and events.
    • Spearhead growth hacking ideas to create quick wins
  4. Webinars & Thought Leadership
    • Plan, host, and moderate webinars or virtual events to educate prospects and customers about JoinBrands.com’s platform and services.
    • Coordinate with subject matter experts, customers, and partners to feature thought leadership content.
    • Develop and track webinar performance metrics, optimizing future events based on insights gained.
  5. Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership
    • Own the GTM strategy for new product launches, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, and product teams.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
    • Implement feedback loops between the market, sales, and product teams to refine product offerings and messaging.
  6. Reporting & Analysis
    • Monitor, measure, and report on the performance of all sales and marketing initiatives, offering insights and recommendations.
    • Present periodic updates to leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education & Experience :
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
    • 5+ years of experience in a Sales and/or Marketing role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strategic Thinking :
    • Proven track record of creating and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.
    • Ability to interpret market data and sales metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Technical Proficiency :
    • Familiarity with CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Highlevel, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Intercom) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Mailchimp).
    • Comfortable analyzing data, preparing reports, and using spreadsheets.
    • SEO knowledge and strategy execution
  • Leadership & Communication :
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and public speaking.
    • Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead diverse teams toward ambitious goals.
  • Results-Driven :
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Detail-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset and a track record of achieving measurable results.
  • Industry Knowledge :
    • Experience in SaaS, marketplaces, or marketing tech is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with creator marketing, influencer campaigns, or brand collaboration is a plus.
