At **VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists** we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Surgery Team. **Compensation** : $ 19 - $ 28 / hr **Location** : 3021 Edinger Ave, Tustin, CA 92780 We may be part of a big company but we are a close-knit work family. Duties will include: + Maintaining medical records. + Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments. + Preparing medications and prescriptions. + Communicating in person and on the phone with clients. + Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging. + Assisting in procedures. + Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets. + Assisting in other areas of the hospital, as needed.
