Job Description

Are you passionate about cultural exchange and connecting people in your community? PAX Program of Academic Exchange is seeking commission-based independent contractors to connect international high school students with host families and local schools. This flexible role offers meaningful work and exciting incentives, though it does not provide steady income.

About the Role:

Compensation : Pay is commission-based (no upfront pay) with bonuses and travel incentives. You’re compensated per completed student placement, with small stipends provided throughout the year.
Flexibility : Your income depends on the number of students your local schools accept and the time you dedicate. Coordinators typically place 3–6 students annually but may place as few as 1 or as many as 10+.
Ideal for : Those seeking a meaningful side project, paid hobby, or way to engage with teens and international cultures.

Responsibilities:

Recruit and screen volunteer host families.
Collaborate with local high schools to arrange student enrollments.
Provide support to students and families through monthly check-ins during the school year.
Promote cultural exchange in your community.
