Responsibilities:
- Provide 3D piping and equipment designs for retrofit, environmental, and new generation projects.
- Produce 2D orthographic and isometric drawings, P&IDs, pipe support designs, and 3D models.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers across multiple disciplines to ensure safe, effective, and efficient designs.
- Apply knowledge of applicable codes and standards to all work situations.
- Gather field data to support the development of accurate deliverables.
- Prepare material take-offs for projects.
- Check design drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Utilize 3D modeling tools (AutoPLANT and/or AVEVA preferred) for piping system layouts and designs.
- Manage multiple large projects simultaneously with high efficiency.
- Maintain good organizational skills, self-motivation, and teamwork.
- Build effective working relationships with plant staff, design engineering teams, and vendors.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (AutoPLANT or AVEVA preferred).
- Ability to produce 2D orthographic and isometric drawings, P&IDs, and pipe support designs.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards for piping design.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
