We are hiring PIPE WELDERS at Brunswick Nuclear Station in Southport, NC for Spring 2025 Outage.

/Duties:

•Use and layout portable welding equipment (i.e., SMAW, SMAW, and GTAW).
•Weld specialty alloys including carbon and stainless steel.
•Set-up, operate, and test equipment for welding.
•Maintain, fabricate, repair, and calibrate tools and equipment to requirements.
•Make quality welds for subsequent inspection/testing in restricted/limited positions.
•Read and interrupt mechanical drawings, blueprints, and weld data cards.
•Record data on required forms.
•Read and understand welding program, symbols, and procedures.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

•3 years of welding experience and/or Trade School certification.
•Completion of all testing requirements.
•Nuclear experience preferred.
•Ability to work in extreme heat conditions and confined spaces.
•High School diploma or GED.
