Now Hiring: Pharmacist in Plattsburgh, NY
Our client is seeking a skilled Pharmacist with inpatient hospital pharmacy experience to join their team. If you are a motivated, patient-focused individual with the right credentials, this could be an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a healthcare setting.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Current New York State Pharmacist license (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work onsite in Plattsburgh, NY.
• Willingness to work evening shifts (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Residency training experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Epic EMR system.
• Retail pharmacy experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications for both inpatient and outpatient patients.
• Ensure the accuracy and safety of all medications dispensed.
• Work closely with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care.
• Educate patients on proper medication use.
• Manage medication inventory and stock levels.
• Participate in the evening shift and potentially additional shifts.

Educational & Skills Requirements:

• BS in Pharmacy and current Registered Pharmacist (NYS) required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with computer systems and pharmacy software.

Shift Details:

• Primary Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Secondary Shifts: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
