Join a prestigious hotel in the heart of St. Julian's, Malta, known for its luxurious accommodations and exceptional guest services. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during the night shift. You will manage the hotels night-time activities, balance daily financial transactions, and provide excellent customer service to guests. Your role is key to maintaining a positive guest experience while performing essential accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee night-time front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
• Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and other revenues.
• Ensure the accuracy of the hotels financial records by auditing and verifying all transactions from the day shift.
• Prepare daily financial reports and communicate any discrepancies to management.
• Process end-of-day procedures and ensure the smooth transition to the morning shift.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
• Monitor hotel security during the night shift and respond to any emergency situations if required.
• Assist in other duties as needed to support hotel operations during the night shift.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency with Opera or Opera Cloud hotel management systems is essential.
• Strong numerical and accounting skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently during overnight shifts.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing a high standard of guest service.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of the local area and hospitality standards in Malta is an advantage.
