Pay: $16-18 per hour

Craft Beer and Food! – Vibrissa Beer is a production brewery and kitchen in the heart of downtown Winchester, VA. We have a beautiful facility and a full-service kitchen that specializes in upscale pub fare and nationally award-winning beer.

Come be a member of our kitchen team! We are looking for a personable, hardworking line cook that can contribute to a positive and engaging team that is dedicated to learning and growing together . Our Line Cook should be organized, professional and uphold and reinforce the highest standards. The ultimate result is to create food that delights and thrills our customers and helps them celebrate the special moments in their lives.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years or more of experience working as a line cook in a professional high volume kitchen
• High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
• Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
• Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
• ServSafe Certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation : preparing food to the highest standard, ensuring that dishes are consistent and cooked to the right level.
• Inventory Management : assists the chef/sous chef with inventory and food delivery when needed
• Training - helps with station training as needed
• Sanitation and Safety : ensures that the kitchen is clean and follows sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Quality Control : ensures that all dishes meet the restaurant's quality standards, and that they are served correctly.
• Communication : communicates effectively with other kitchen staff, as well as front-of-house staff, to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
