The Surgical Design Assurance team is a group of Quality Engineers who focus on supporting new product development and lifecycle management of our on market products. We partner closely with R&D and other cross functions to ensure that our products are safe, reliable, durable, manufacturable and serviceable.

As a Design Assurance Intern, your role will be to provide quality support on a sustaining project. You will have the opportunity to take a hands-on approach to learning about the Surgical product portfolio.

Throughout the 10-12 weeks you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:

• Work as part of a team.
• Gain valuable hands-on experience testing in the lab.
• Learn about design control deliverables, including product requirements and risk management.

We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:

• Able to work full-time over the summer months (May/June - August/ Sept)
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship
• Rising Junior or Rising Senior
• Majoring in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to effectively work on project teams
• Strong written, verbal and technical writing communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and coordinate project activities
• Ability to work onsite at our Marlborough campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided

The hourly pay range for this role is $22-$28 per hour. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
