Join Our Team as an Industrial X-Ray Technician!

As a Level 1 X-Ray Technician , you will start your career by gaining practical experience in radiographic testing of metal castings. Upon successfully completing the Level 1 certification, you will operate X-ray equipment to identify internal defects in metal castings, including inspecting castings, sample parts, and structural components for flaws, cracks, foreign materials, or other process-related deviations.

What You’ll Do:

• Certification and Training : Successfully pass Level 1 exams after three months of in-house training.
• X-Ray Operation : Set up and operate X-ray units to capture X-rays of metal castings to detect internal defects as per customer specifications.
• Film Handling : Load film cassettes, process, and sort X-ray film. Operate densitometers to verify film densities.
• Skill Development : Develop proficiency to move into Level II roles, gaining the necessary experience and training while working on shifts.
• Additional Duties : Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision, including supporting Level II Inspectors and learning to interpret X-ray images.

What You Bring:

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (verification required).
• Access to export-controlled items is necessary, and candidates must meet eligibility criteria.
• 3+ months of related experience and/or training in a mechanical position.
• Availability for** all shifts

**(including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekend shift) is necessary. The ability to work overtime and weekends is required as schedules may vary based on operational needs; flexibility is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior X-ray or radiology experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret customer specifications.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

**Equipment Used: **Various radiographic imaging equipment, 320 MEV, 450 MEV, and Linatron Units.
