Hospice Registered Nurse (Weekend)

Our client is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join their dedicated care team in Schaumburg, IL. This role focuses on providing high-quality hospice care to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort, dignity, and comprehensive end-of-life support. The position offers flexibility, professional growth, and a supportive interdisciplinary work environment.
Responsibilities include managing and delivering individualized patient care plans, performing assessments, administering medications, documenting clinical information accurately, and collaborating with other care professionals to support patients and families.
Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Travel: Occasional local travel required
Required qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
Associate degree or higher in Nursing
Minimum of two years of RN experience (Hospice experience preferred)
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
