Job Overview:

Focal Point Medical Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in staffing for Per Diem and temporary contract travel or local positions within the healthcare industry. This role requires a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the healthcare staffing industry, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

    • Source, screen, and recruit qualified healthcare professionals (CNAs, LPNs, RNs) for Per Diem, temporary contract travel, and local assignments.
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.
    • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and anticipated staffing needs.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and client facilities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both candidates and clients, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Act as a liaison between healthcare professionals and client facilities to ensure successful placements.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all candidates meet the necessary credentialing and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate profiles, assignments, and communication in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with all legal and contractual obligations.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored staffing solutions.
  • Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and other activities to promote Focal Point Medical Staffing's services.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare recruiting, specifically for Per Diem and temporary contract travel or local positions.
  • Proven track record of successful placements and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and clients.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with ATS and other recruitment software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
