Are you an experienced HSE leader with a passion for safety, compliance, and continuous improvement? Our client is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to drive health, safety, and environmental programs at their manufacturing facility in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you’ll ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards, while developing and implementing training programs that promote a culture of safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Develop and implement HSE training programs for all manufacturing employees
• Utilize Lean & Quality tools to drive process improvements and risk reduction
• Oversee incident investigations, audits, and corrective action plans
• Manage wastewater treatment operations and environmental systems
• Collaborate with leadership, operations, and engineering teams to drive a proactive safety culture

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years in an HSE management role within a manufacturing environment
• Chemical Engineering degree or Mechanical Engineering degree
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, GHS, DOT, and HAZCOM regulations
• Hands-on experience with HSE audits, safety assessments, and incident investigations
• Ability to work independently and drive cross-functional collaboration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
