Responsibilities Team Intro:
The frontend team in TikTok Multimedia Arch is responsible for platforms and toolings that cover a set of platforms that facilitate the whole TikTok video lifecycle from creation to consumption. The platform includes multimedia data platforms, strategy platforms, debug platforms and AI platforms etc. The content covers big data virtualizations, machine learning strategies, portraits and causal inference analysis etc.
Full Stack Software Engineer Intern at TikTok will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience and performance on the platform. This position involves collaborating with backend and data teams to develop innovative user experiences and optimize performance through data visualizations and machine learning strategies. The engineer will be responsible for building high-quality frontends, or full stack (including both frontend and backend), promoting maintainable code, and contributing to the growth of the team through expertise and collaboration.
Responsibilities: - Work closely with frontend, backend, product, and data teams to develop and ship new user experiences and performance optimizations on TikTok.
- Conduct research and fulls tack development for Multimedia Arch.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master degree in Computer Science or related major.
- Proficiency in Go development, database design and development.
- Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript, ES5/6, CSS, and various layouts.
- Understanding of component-based development ideas, familiarity with React, or any other equivalent library/framework.
- Good team communication and collaboration skills.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45- $45.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
