MEMCO SER is looking for EXPERIENCED  forklift operators to start ASAP for 1st and 2nd shift in Houston!

MEMCO SER is seeking reliable and skilled individuals to join our team as Warehouse Loading and Unloading Associates with forklift operation responsibilities. This role will ensure efficient and safe handling of goods within the warehouse, focusing on loading and unloading deliveries with the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment. If you’re a detail-oriented person with forklift experience, this is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to load and unload shipments from trucks, containers, and warehouse racks.
• Ensure that products are stored safely and organized within the warehouse.
• Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Check inventory levels, and assist with stock rotation and organization of products.
• Safely move, stack, and arrange pallets and goods for shipping or storage.
• Conduct damage inspections and report any discrepancies in product conditions.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas by following all safety protocols and housekeeping procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment, including picking and packing, when required.
• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet warehouse goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]) as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Basic math and computer skills (for inventory tracking and order preparation).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
