Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 / year
CulinArt Group operates over 250 onsite corporate, higher education, private school, healthcare and destination recreation/leisure dining facilities in 18 states, including cafés, coffee bars, concessions, executive dining, catering and conference dining, social catering/special events, office coffee service and vending. Working as an Executive Chef at William Penn Charter School, you will oversee all culinary functions for a premier Friends School in Philadelphia. This includes managing and leading a team of associates while ensuring all safety and sanitation standards are met. The operation serves breakfast and lunch to 700+ daily, Monday through Friday, with catering events as needed. Free parking is provided, holidays are off, and summers are optional. Typical hours are 6:00am–4:00pm, with flexibility for catering.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages cost controls and expenditures for the account
Plans and creates all menus
Purchases and manages inventory
Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary team
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary degree preferred
Three to five years of culinary management experience
High volume production and catering experience is essential
Previous experience managing cost controls
Desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company
