Responsibilities:
  • In this role, I will be providing comprehensive end-user support while managing and securing PC hardware and software in classified environments. My primary duties will include troubleshooting, tracking, and resolving technical issues for end-user devices to ensure operational readiness and adherence to cybersecurity standards. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Providing Tier I and Tier II support to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and other peripherals.
  • Developing and deploying standardized client images for desktops and laptops using tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and SCCM Operating System Deployment (OSD).
  • Tracking, documenting, and managing support requests through an IT Service Management (ITSM) system to ensure timely resolution and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve escalated issues, coordinating with network, server, and storage teams as necessary.
  • Maintaining a detailed inventory of end-user devices and ensuring proper configuration, patching, and compliance with security policies.
  • Supporting secure access to classified networks and systems, ensuring compliance with NIST RMF and DoD cybersecurity standards.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting connectivity issues for local and remote users, including issues related to Wi-Fi and other network configurations.
  • Providing training and technical assistance to end-users to improve system usage and operational efficiency.
  • Documenting troubleshooting procedures, creating knowledge base articles, and contributing to the standardization of end-user support practices.
  • Participating in incident, problem, and change management activities to minimize disruptions and maintain high availability of IT services.

This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of specialized experience which includes deploying and supporting operating system images and applications in secure or classified environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for resolving issues efficiently and effectively. Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity standards, including Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) policies, is also preferred.

A minimum education level of an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field is required; or a Master’s Degree with four years of relevant experience; or ten years of directly applicable experience without a degree. Relevant certifications may include DoD 8140/8570.01M IAT Level II Certification and Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, among others.

The work location will be international, with less than 10% travel required and onsite telecommuting options.
