Our client is seeking a skilled Copywriter who specializes in technology and science writing, particularly in artificial intelligence. This role is responsible for crafting content that will educate both internal staff and external audiences on the latest AI developments, industry applications, and innovative solutions. You’ll write about topics that range from AI tools for different roles within our organization to complex external-facing content on AI-driven research, protein modeling, and more.

• Produce engaging, educational content to help internal teams understand and adopt AI tools, techniques, and best practices relevant to their roles.
• Collaborate with product, HR, and training teams to create materials that promote AI literacy and skill development across departments.
• Write detailed guides, internal articles, and newsletters that translate technical AI concepts into accessible content for all employees.
• Develop feature articles, blog posts, and case studies on AI’s applications in research, model engineering, protein sorting, and more.
• Craft press releases and media pitches to showcase our AI-driven innovations to industry media, potential clients, and partners.
• Collaborate with product and RD teams to ensure the accuracy of technical content and help translate complex scientific findings into compelling stories for the public.
• Collaborate with thought leaders and subject matter experts to create informative content that establishes our brand as an authority in AI and technology.
• Research and write in-depth articles on AI trends, advancements, and the future of AI in science and industry.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align content with strategic goals, SEO practices, and audience engagement targets.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor content, and new developments in AI, machine learning, and biotechnology to inform content creation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Computer Science, Biology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in copywriting, science journalism, or technical writing, with a portfolio of work focused on technology, AI, or scientific content.
• Strong ability to distill complex technical and scientific concepts into clear, engaging language for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or biotechnology; experience in protein modeling, data science, or related fields is a plus.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and SEO best practices.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and a passion for clarity.

• Start Date/Duration: Starting ASAP and Ongoing
• Hours/Week: 20-30 Hours/Month depending on project volume
• Onsite/Offsite: Remote working roughly ET or CT hours (*Must be based in the US)
• Laptop/Software Requirements: Working on your own Laptop Software

• Salary/Rate: $45-50/Hour
