About the Role
As Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning and policies, maintaining fiscal records, and preparing financial reports. This role also involves managing accounting functions, budgetary controls, and compliance with tax regulations. Your expertise will help ensure financial stability and operational effectiveness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights on profitability, resource utilization, and overall financial health.
Maintain the organization's chart of accounts and general ledger while reviewing journal entries for all transactions and assets.
Lead the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and other planning initiatives.
Oversee accounting and payroll staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.
Manage annual audits, including year-end financial and 401(k) plan audits.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including payroll and corporate taxes.
Assess performance metrics to identify efficiencies and implement best practices across departments.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
5+ years of financial management experience (preferably in healthcare).
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial teams.
Ability to work under tight deadlines, take initiative, and continuously seek process improvements.
Experience managing accounting teams and providing strategic financial leadership.
