Job Description

A recognized leader in psychiatric treatment, the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center has been dedicated to healing and recovery for those who are battling mental health disorders and addition issues. We offer uniquely designed inpatient units, outpatient services, comprehensive emergency and crisis programs, psychiatric consultations for hospitalized patients, and full array of addiction treatment programs. Montefiore’s Wakefield campus seeks a Clinical Manager. 

Responsibilities:
• Design and implementation of clinical initiatives
• Clinical and administrative supervision, including hiring, firing, progressive discipline
• Participation in leadership meetings and departmental initiatives
• Management of daily operations of the Article 31 Outpatient Clinic on Bronx Blvd. 
• Supervision of social work staff and administrative and clinical managers 
• Clinical point person for staff; resolution of escalated issues 
• Collaboration with Managers, Outreach Specialists, Customer Service department, and department and hospital leadership
• Ensure compliance with regulatory entities and policies and procedures
• Ensure that the clinical services are appropriate and consistent with the objectives of the program and regulatory agencies through supervision and project development
• Implement and oversee CQI activities and measurement of performance improvement initiatives
• Oversee daily operations, including management of the census

Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree required
• License in psychology or clinical social work (LCSW) required
• Preferred 3 years supervisory experience

Shift:  Day Scheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-5 PM Req ID: 223432  Salary Range/Pay Rate: $77,798.42- $103,731.23
