Job Description

Major international financial institution seeks Bilingual Japanese Client Services Administrator.  This is a temporary position starts from mid-September for 3 months with possible extension.

 

SUMMARY

To handle inquiries from the Japanese clients (mainly Japanese Financial Institutions) on day-to-day operations, primarily through email with our client window or our affiliated company in Tokyo, and to promote and manage our service enhancement with the internal departments based on clients’ needs.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Proactively handles clients’ inquiries to maintain customer satisfaction.
  2. Analyzes the clients’ needs and develops solutions/options to strengthen relationship with clients.
  3. Informs the clients when potential problems may arise. If a problem has already occurred, reports to the Manager and takes any required action with the clients to solve the problem quickly.
  4. Coordinates with other departments to provide good service with clients.
  5. Maintains all the communication records with clients, approval forms, and other documents as directed by the Manager.
  6. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Department Manager and Management not only in existing functions, but also in other additional functions necessitated by business expansion.

 

Knowledge/Skills

1.       Customer Services experience in financial industry is preferred (Trust fund administration knowledge is preferred).

2.       PC Skills in Japanese/English (MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Access preferred).

3.       Strong communication skills (verbal/written) in Japanese/English.
