Cat Groomer

At Shaggy Chic we pride ourselves on providing high-quality grooming services in a safe, caring, and professional environment for over 25 years. Our growing client base means we are looking to add a dedicated Cat Groomer to our team.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including baths, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, and de-shedding treatments
Handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience and care
Consult with pet owners to understand and deliver grooming preferences
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work areas
Monitor pets for signs of stress or health concerns during grooming

Qualifications

1+ year of professional grooming experience preferred (willing to consider candidates with training or apprenticeships)
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to lift dogs up to 20 lbs. safely

Schedule: Shop is open Monday-Friday, 7 AM – 6 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7 AM- 3 PM We work with your scheduling needs.

Pay:

$15-18/hour + Tips (100%)
opportunities for added pay on additional services
