IPERS is looking for a team player who is a customer service focused, self-starter interested in performing a variety of duties. Who We Are: IPERS is the state's largest public retirement system. Today, IPERS is a trust fund of more than $40 billion that pays more than $2.6 billion in annual benefits. What You'll Do: Learn and maintain in depth knowledge of benefit provisions. Provide pre-retirement phone, web based, and face-to-face retirement counseling. Analyze member accounts and prepare estimates of retirement benefits. Review and process retirement, refund, and death benefit applications. Answer inbound member phone calls. Work hours during the training period (approximately 6 months) will be 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday.
