Aston Gardens at Pelican Pointe is seeking an ALF Core Trained Administrator for our quaint 40-bed AL/MC Community. 

Responsibilities and duties for the Administrator includes:

• Plans, organizes, develops and leads the overall operation of Assisted Living in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Prior to move-in, coordinates the health care needs with the Health Care Coordinator;
• Assists with the development of the Assisted Living’s organizational structure and articulates the roles of department heads within that structure;
• Represents the health center both internally and to the public including governmental agencies, third party payers, and the general population;
• Works harmoniously with the community’s other department managers concerning level of care transitions and general communication as well as all other interactions that promote an efficient and effective overall community operation;
• Assists with the development and administration of the Assisted Living’s overall budget process such that accurate forecasting of expenses and cost control result;
• Ensures that adequate financial records and reports are prepared and submitted to the Executive Director as required.

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse license preferred.
• Must be ALF Core Trained or successfully complete the Core Training requirement within 3 months from date of becoming a Facility Administrator.
• Prior Assisted Living experience is preferred
• Previous supervisory experience
• Must meet state requirements for certified administrator
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
