We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Application Development Analyst C. Advanced to join our team and drive our innovative cloud solutions and technology integrations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As an Application Development Analyst C. Advanced, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and optimization of the GIS System of Engagement (SoE) to enhance cloud solutions and integrate systems, ensuring a seamless experience for users throughout the Department.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of AASHTOWare systems, ensuring that they remain current and effective for user needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing processes and applications, working closely with the Application Services Team to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external customers to gather and refine business requirements, while developing actionable deliverables and performing advanced database analytics.
  • Provide expert technical support for GIS functionalities to FDOT Central Office and Districts, utilizing technologies such as ArcGIS Enterprise and GIS web map services.
  • Implement strategic designs and manage projects related to ArcGIS, ESRI WebApps, and AASHTOWare while offering high-level technical support for related services.
  • Dive deep into the installation and management of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environments as well as ESRI desktop software, providing expert knowledge in these areas.
  • Perform critical technical assignments in support of Application Services, including user account management and metadata maintenance.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in web-based application (ex. ESRI WebApps) development with ArcGIS Enterprise (minimum 8 years).
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise a must (minimum 5 years).
  • Experience with ArcGIS Portal management a must (minimum 5 years).
  • Experience with ArcGIS Online (minimum 8 years).
  • Experience with SQL Server & Geodatabase management.
  • Experience with ArcGIS for Desktop and Extensions (minimum 5 years).
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro and Extensions (minimum 5 years).
  • Experience with developing and maintaining documentation, including metadata.
  • Experience with Mongo, Express, React, or Node JS (MERN), .Net Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, or Angular.
  • Experience with developing Cloud solutions or web-based ArcGIS APIs ( ESRI JavaScript API, ArcGIS REST API, Portal API, etc. minimum 5 years)

Education: Bachelor’s in Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent qualifications.
